Seeing As Part, And Seeing As Whole

When you see from only a part of yourself, like from your physicality or from your self-image (Nafs), you see only a part of the other you are looking at. You actually reduce them and that part to simply a perceived part that your part has labeled and judged.

This is what we do when we look with hurt, hate, greed, lust, jealousy and mistrust. We are looking with the partiality of what we ourselves have become.

But when you see from the wholeness and fullness that you are, from your spiritual heart (Qalb), you redeem yourself and redeem all others, through, in, and as this whole. That whole is God’s Presence. God’s Truth. God’s Love. God’s Oneness. That Presence is your globality, which is the globality of all apparent others as apparent waves in the Ocean of God’s Oneness. Of God’s Global Village. There is no judgment in this kind of Seeing. Only Seeing what actually Is.

Then we are able to see it all as it is. We are looking from the wholeness that is our true Being. We see with and as hope, love, generosity, gentleness, acceptance and trust. We are finally looking again as we did at the world and others with pure wonder, gratitude, and amazement, as simply as children do.
